Occupational Therapy
Occupational Therapy focuses on helping children participate
in the occupations of childhood. Children's activities of daily
living include: playing, eating, self-care, learning, writing,
community skills, and socializing.
Physical Therapy
Physical Therapy focuses on helping children to engage
in physical activities such as crawling, walking, running, jumping,
climbing, catching and throwing and safely moving around their
environment.
Speech Therapy
Speech, language, and oral motor skills can impact a child's ability
to communicate needs appropriately and socialize with others.
At Therapy In Action, Speech Therapists are available to consult
in the overall development of the child.
Psychological Counseling
Recognizing the importance of the emotional well being
of the individual child and the family, we have available a licensed
Marriage, Family, and Child Counselor to provide individual, couple,
and family counseling services.

Occupational Therapists and Physical Therapists may provide suggestions
for adaptive equipment and environmental modifications to help
the child meet developmental challenges. They may also make recommendations
for mobility aids, splints, and orthotics. Therapists use purposeful
play and selected therapeutic activities to develop the underlying
foundations necessary for skill development in the following areas:
